The layout is a basic single track continuous oval with double track down the long sides configured into passing loops.
Rationale for the layout’s existence/why did you build it?/what do/did you hope to achieve?
The layout was given to me by a member from CMRC. As it is my first layout I am gathering experience on how to go about constructing a layout aided by other members of the club.
Features on the layout:
There is a small village at one end which has a church, pub, farm, shop and a number of different types of houses dotted around. At the other end there is a tunnel which has an industrial area next to it. Through the centre of the layout there is a river which has a bridge at one side and runs under the station platforms at the other.
