Welcome to CMRC!

We have recently moved to our new home in Skelton directions can be found on the Find us page, or more information is available in this PDF (0.45mb).

CMRC is the home to some impressive layouts and model making skills. Established in 1983 there were just 14 people at the first meeting! We have since vastly expanded and have moved into a new modern unit, doubling the size of the club rooms.

The members create and run trains on a variety of scales and gauges including the popular N,OO,O and the specialist, EM, P4 etc..

The club meet every Tuesday & Thursday evenings between 7pm and 10pm. Non members are always welcome to come and see what we do, from total beginners new to the hobby or complete experts there's something for everyone, kids and adults alike, and there's always someone willing to give advice.

We have just recently started 5 new projects, 3 new club layouts in N, OO and O gauges, and 2 external projects, which are a new layout of Skinningrove mining museums "Zig-Zag" railway and a rebuild of Wensleydales layout which is normally housed in Bedales station rooms, more information can be found by selecting projects & layouts on the left menu.
